The skete of
St. Panteleimonas is the Greek one,
it belongs to the monastery of
Koutloumousiou. The skete was
founded in 1785 by the celibate monk Charalampios in the place of the old
skete.
The katholikon
of the skete was built in 1791 and
is dedicated to St. Panteleimonas. The
wall-painting were made in 1868. The oldest kalyve of the skete is that of All
Saints.
Nowadays only
14 of 23 kalyves are inhabited by 20 monks.

the Martyr Panteleimonas is a miracle-working
icon kept in a sliver frame.
