High in the mountains there is a cell of prelate Grigory Palama. From there the Great Lavra is visible clearly but it seems very small. Prelate Grigory lived there. The cell consists of a church and two premises. Together with a church dome all cell is covered by the grey slate tiles. In the church there is an elegant two-story iconostasis. Nobody lives in the cell nowadays but the monks from the monastery of Great Lavra often visit it and conduct services there.
